These include activities and a positive approach to living with dementia, which builds on the strengths and abilities. This ensures that people with dementia maintain a sense of well-being and individuality.

 

There are many other practical ways of improving quality of life for the person with dementia. Knowing likes, dislikes and the person's needs, can assist the person to maintain their personhood and individuality.
